At this point the best way to know that your ballot is counted is In person voting. or ballot drop off. I went specifically to my polling station to drop off my ballot. There were workers there to make sure the ballots are dropped safely and correctly.

If you used our Copley Square ballot dropbox on Saturday, October 24, between 2:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. today, please contact us at 617-635-2211 to check the status of your ballot.

Perfect and timely post, Mark!
ReplyDeleteMy ballot went in the official ballot drop off box (California) and I willl follow up on your suggestion to confirm its receipt. Always have liked going to the polling place on Election Day...such a great sense of being joined by my community in meeting one of our most important societal obligations...but alas this year is different. At least California is progressive and sends everyone mail in ballots so we can safeguard our health. (Can’t believe the lunacy of Texas allowing only one drop off box per freaking COUNTY!)
Excellent advice on ballot arguments....check out who supports, who’s against...especially on the tricky ones where the measure sounds good until you find out who’s behind it!!
May all our efforts yield the good results we desperately need!!!
For some reason the link kept coming back to my blog. so I to the link off but if anyone copies and paste ballottrax.net the will get the site. I hope all is well with you . Hugs and kisses!
DeleteAll is well here...hope the same for you! ... of course there is the stress of waiting to see the results of the elections...so worried about the potential of the administration and courts to subvert what will be probably be a very clear expression of the will of the people.
DeleteBTW, assume you are getting my emails...if not, let me know!
Hugs and kisses back at you!
Exercising your right to vote is sexy. Advocating others to do the same? Very sexy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much handsome!
DeleteExcellent information. Thank you! In light of the SCOTUS ruling on Wisconsin, we can no longer trust the mail-in balloting either. It is much, much too late.
ReplyDeleteThis is so tragic. And people wonder why people who have such a harsh view of peo[le who identify as Republicans. Because history has shown time and time again that they will do whatever weather it is moral or immoral to stay in power and follow their own agenda which is not usually the agenda of the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Deletein Italy, we have the electoral lists in which the voters are registered. Do you have to register for the vote?
ReplyDelete
DeleteYes we do. October 19th is the deadline for online and mail in vote but you can register up to November 3rd which is NOT a smart move. Because I doubt there is any way one’s vote would be counted. I wish you and your country well. And may thing turn out for the better.
in Italy nobody can vote by post. Except Italians residing outside. However, they are automatically registered. They have nothing to do but send their vote to Rome, in a special departement.
DeleteWell, here we are. May the vast, VAST majority of this country restore us to Dignity, Integrity, Civility, Empathy. Hugs, my friend!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness ! I've been bitting my nails for the last two days! I actually had to turn the t.v. off. Boss was glued r=to the set. I finally told him WE NEED TO GO TO BED ! All I can say is, "It's a new day." And whatever the outcome I know I did my duty to make a difference . Hugs and passionate kisses to you my friend. And maybe even a nice erotic back rub?? Cheers!
