DELAY AFTER DELAY AFTER DELAY

I owe my friend about 100 beers by now.  Every time we plan to get together something comes up.  But we are going to do this.  My blog buddy and I have played email tag for years trying to get together for a hang out but things have just gotten in the way: His schedule, my schedule, his schedule, my schedule, pandemic.   This is starting to seem like the story of my website!

Speaking of which:  I have been BUSY like a hooker in overtime trying to find a reputable web designing company that will help me build my website.  If anyone knows or is a skilled designer, please contact me. My deadline is getting closer. The launch date is in September and time is running out.  It takes a few months to build and I don't have much time left.  I have drafts of the site I just need the builder. 

And NO I'm not just going to settle for these blogs, platforms, tube sites, and "Fans" pages that have all of these limited and restrictive policies and non user friendly navigation templates.

Yeah I've been busy. But I still want that beer! Hell I really don't even drink beer I just need to get out for a moment.  AND  THEN GET BACK TO WORK. 

That's my story in a nutshell.  I will someday get a good rhythm going with my posting here.  I have just been scrambling around getting things prepared to meet my deadline.  Again, if anyone is knowledgable in coding and word press Please contact me at themalecastingcouch@gmail.com

HELLO COUCH SURFERS

Hello Couch Surfers.

I have amends to make.  Not that I feel unresolved with the blogosphere itself, but the blog family that I left behind without much of a word.  I don't regret taking the time I needed to get myself right but more; I regret not being in contact with those who have reached out to me over the last few months.  You know who you are and I thank you for your continued friendship and support even virtually.

For them I will say,"I truly apologize." 

In my time away I have l learned that sometimes by not responding, my actions or lack there of can appear aloof even if I really haven't checked my emails for this blog until recently.  But I have also grown to understand that as an adult I don't owe anyone any explanation.  I will do what I feel is necessary when I feel it's necessary; not because someone wants me to. 

My goodness I sound like a rebellious teenager when I type this.  But what I realized (and it has taken me 33 years to realize this) is I am not a teenager.  I am not a child.  I am a man that doesn't need permission nor do I need to explain why I do what I do or who I am to anyone.

Just so there is no confusion.  I am not saying this to my blog brothers.  You have been very supportive.  This is coming from months of getting help from a professional that assisted me a great deal with learning how to set boundaries to my family and friends.  

It has also allowed me not to get plugged into this whacky world of the Matrix online.  Being a blogger and being on other social media is alright to a degree; but there can be demands here as well not to mention the psychological toll it can take on a person if too much time is spent.  So I am learning balance.

I am back to shooting again so the primary objective is to make The Male Casting Couch a blog that celebrates the diversity and sexuality of all men.  

Due to the pandemic and the fact that we were in lock down and racial tensions were rising, the blog's vision slightly steered towards me and my thoughts.  My goal is to make my photography the highlight once again.  

However If there is something going on in the world that needs to be discussed I'm going to do it.  2016 - 2020 I found myself getting more politically charged than I ever have.  We were in a shit show.  And unfortunately we have a very long way to go.  

Black Lives still and always will matter.  And I will continue to remind you of that.  

For now I have some beautiful men to share with you.

TASTE OF NATURE

I wanted to take some time to share some nature a bit. So much of my work is done indoors due to the nature of my work. And it is often hard to find those serene areas being in such a populated place. Every now and then I find that one spot that that is so serene and peaceful.

I think this is a perfect time to share something positive and peaceful.

Going through my small port of nature shots has made me realize how refreshing it is to do something different .
